Science is taught as a means to a job and not as a way of going about the world. That even scientists believe this is reflective of just how metastatic the problem has become. For as long as you think science is only a means to an end, you will always fall prey to liars and peddlers of superstition.

“Until people start becoming intellectually honest and consistent with science—enjoying its spoils without expressing contempt for its methods—teaching science at any age is pointless.”
